About us

Our history
Earl & Co was founded in 1898 by C Earl with partners T Pullen and A Newton.  By the 1930s Mr Earl and Mr Newton had passed away leaving sole ownership to Mr T Pullen.  The Company is today run by grandsons of the founder; David and Michael Pullen, from the original site on Albemarle Road.


Our ethos
As a company, we are very proud of our history and independence, indeed Earl & Co are founder members of the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF), whose membership is made up from family owned and run funeral directors who abide by a strict code of practice. Our reputation at Earl & Co has been achieved through the very high standard of personal care we provide to every single one of our clients.
