Serving Ashford town and the local villages for 120 years
Earl & Co Funeral Directors was founded in 1898 as a general builders and undertakers by C Earl with partners T Pullen and A Newton. By the 1930s Mr Earl and Mr Newton had passed away leaving sole ownership to Mr T Pullen.
After WWII, the building side of the company took over as the sole business and gained a respectable reputation, with local roads named after the company, like Earls Avenue and Earlsworth Road.
In 1983, Don Pullen, son of the founder restarted the funeral business which proved very successful. Don’s sons David and Michael are still actively involved with the business today, from the original site on Albemarle Road.
We provide funerals for people from Ashford, Wye, Smeeth, Mersham, Kingsnorth and surround areas.
The team at our Ashford funeral home will provide advice at every stage of the funeral planning process, and will arrange an individual and unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one.
Here at Earl & Co Funeral Directors we also offer an affordable prepaid funeral plan, Choice, so that you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance. This will protect your family from rising costs and remove uncertainty about your wishes.
If you would like to talk to us about planning a funeral, or our Choice plan, please come and see us in any of our funeral homes, or if you’d rather we can arrange a home visit. We’re also available 24 hours a day on the phone so if you need anything please don’t hesitate to call your local funeral home.
